My Why Wednesday – Dairy Queen Store #44220

Dairy Queen #44220 in Jacksonville, Alabama is participating in the Round-Up For The Kids Campaign beginning November 15th through November 30th. During that time Dairy Queen cashiers at the Jacksonville store and other participating locations across the state will be asking customers to round-up their total to benefit their local CMN Hospital, Children’s of Alabama.

Tawana Johns, General Manager and Shelley Boyers, Shift Lead shared with us why they fundraise for Children’s of Alabama and why making the ASK is important to them!

“I fundraise for my local CMN Hospital, Children’s of Alabama because many patient families cannot afford the life-saving care their child needs. These children across our state deserve the chance to grow up and live healthy lives. I make the ask and fundraise to give these children that chance.” -Tawana Johns, General Manager

“I make the ask to customers to round-up at the register to giveback to the kids at Children’s of Alabama who need our help. It’s so nice to see how many people say ‘yes’ when I ask them to round-up or donate. The generosity of strangers is an amazing thing.” -Shelley Boyers, Shift Lead.

Thank you to Tawana, Shelley, and all the Jacksonville Dairy Queen employees who are supporting Children’s during the Round-Up and also fundraise for our hospital throughout the year!
