Total Reveal Tuesday: Fort Dale Academy Dance Marathon

Students at Fort Dale Academy in Greenville, Alabama danced for TWELVE hours in honor of patients at Children’s of Alabama! The Butler County school was the first private school in the Birmingham market to host a Miracle Network Dance Marathon.

Fort Dale’s ECHO (Experiencing Community by Helping Others) student organization hosted its inaugural Dance Marathon on February 1st. Over 65 students stayed for the entire event, which raised over $3,500. This total was over THREE times their fundraising goal! Sponsorships from businesses, family members and community members helped students exceed their goal. Throughout the event, seventh through twelfth grade students participated in dancing and games, and learned the stories of children treated at Children’s.

Children’s is grateful for the time and effort students put into planning this event, and we look forward to seeing how Fort Dale’s Dance Marathon grows in the future! Thank you, FDA, for being FTK!
