Jacksonville State University Dance Marathon Set Records in 2019

Jacksonville State University’s Dance Marathon is hosted by the Kappa Sigma chapter of Phi Mu Fraternity every fall in support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Children’s of Alabama. The sisters of Phi Mu engage their campus and community in fundraising #FTK throughout the semester, and their efforts culminate at a action-packed Dance Marathon in October.

For the fall 2019 Dance Marathon, greek teams competed in “Minute to Win It” style competitions and a dance-off. Congratulations to the brothers of Kappa Sigma Fraternity for winning the competition! Students also got to hear how Children’s of Alabama has impacted the lives of two kids in Northeast Alabama. Miracle kids Analeigh and Garrett had a blast hanging out with JSU students.

At the end of the night, JSU Dance Marathon announced their largest fundraising total yet! Students raised a record-breaking $21,441 for the kids at Children’s of Alabama! It is truly amazing to see these students rally behind our patients and families. We cannot thank them enough for their continued support and dedication to Children’s!
