Dena celebrates discharge from the hospital after heart transplant

Dena Perry and her family participated in a special bell ringing ceremony to celebrate her discharge from the hospital after a heart transplant. During this ceremony, she was presented with a signed book from the staff and her thumbprint was placed on the side of the bell with the date of her transplant. This tradition is a symbol of the patient’s new life with a new heart.
