Walmart Store #670 Spotlight

Store #670, South Cullman, is doing amazing things for the patients at Children’s of Alabama. After being the top CMN Hospitals fundraising store in 2018, they are working hard to retain the title in 2019! Through 2 weeks of the current CMN Hospitals fundraising campaign, store #670 is the top fundraising store for Children’s of Alabama, #4 location in the company for total funds raised, and the #2 location for total dollars increased over the 2018 campaign!

Store manager, David Roberts is passionate about the fundraising efforts of his associates. He held a cashier meeting several weeks prior to the start of the campaign and told the stories of Children’s of Alabama patients to help associates understand why the fundraising campaign is important to so many people around the state. When asked about his approach toward the campaign, David said, “If associates understand the why before the campaign, they won’t skip over the prompt for the donation.”  David even had signs made for each register that say “Don’t hit clear! Change a child’s life today!” and banners that hang above the front end registers that read “Help us help you help a child today!”

Along with an amazing register campaign, store #670 is also raising funds through a car show, management contests, food days, and character photos. Thank you store #670 for all you do for the patients at Children’s of Alabama!
