Total Reveal Tuesday: UAB Dance Marathon

This total reveal Tuesday we are excited to celebrate the success of Dance Marathon at University of Alabama – Birmingham! To round out their year-long fundraising efforts for Children’s of Alabama, UAB DM held an entirely virtual Main Event on Saturday, February 20.

Students logged on for four jam-packed hours of programming, including learning the line dance in their living room, hanging out with Miracle Kids, and feeling more connected to their local children’s hospital. The Dance Marathon culminated with a “drive-in” total reveal, where students got to watch from their cars as the Executive Board revealed the year’s fundraising total.

An incredible $21,551.21 was raised for Children’s of Alabama!

This represents a 247% year over year increase, which is especially impressive, as UAB students were limited to virtual fundraising and engagement activities for the entire school year. Thank you to the dedicated students who raised these funds on behalf of our hospital, and the generous donors who contributed to making brighter futures for our patients!
